banshee364 Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) Hey guys. I bought this Banshee on Monday and have been having some problems with it ever since. Anyway, I was able to kickstart it the first time i tried but not afterwards, i had to push start it. The next morning I got up, pulled the plugs, cleaned them and put back in. It started on the second kick. Tried to kick it over agian later in the day to no avail. I haven't been able to kick start it since. Compression seems good(without the use of a compression gauge anyway), I put new plugs in, checked for spark, and cleaned the jets. Any ideas on what it may be????? Thanks. when trying to start it for the first time of the day are you pulling out the choke? Also when trying to start it are you giving it gas? Mine will not start if I have the throttle is cracked any amount. Have you tried cleaning the filter?? Is it an airbox or clamp on filters? The info you can give us about the bike the better we will be able to help you out. Congrats on the new shee Quote
banshee364 Posted June 15, 2006 Author Report Posted June 15, 2006 (edited) When I bought the bike the guy said the filter was clean so I haven't tried cleaning it. I will try that. Yes, I am pulling the choke when I try to start it for the first time in the mornings and no I am not giving it any gas. It is a clamp on Filter. Thanks for your help.
