trueraiderfan Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Hey whats up bhq gang? I am getting ready to have a 1994 banshee that i am trading my 2005 z400 for. A buddy of mine knew that i wanted a shee real bad, and knew that i was strapped for cash and could only trade my z for one. he alrady has 2 shee's and he kinda wants my z so he bought the 94 that is a stroker banshee with brand new tomey t-6's and it is actually a pretty nice bike he bought it for 2300 and he has it in the shop righ now and having the carbs rebuilt and the whole engine gone throught and painted so he said the he will be spending probably another 12-1500 on it and i figured that it would be a prety fair deal. Just thought i would ask u guys what u thought cause every body that i ride with kicks my ass cause they all have a 450 500 or 700R they all say im a dumbass for getting a two stroke and trading my z off, but i just figured I would show them my ass the whole way down the track for once instead of them whoping my ass. Ne way let me know what ya think and glad to be here. Quote
ellison445 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Welcome to the HQ  With the right suspension setup and that stroker motor you should give them hell on a track. What mods are done to the banshee? Quote
trueraiderfan Posted June 12, 2006 Author Report Posted June 12, 2006 Thanks for the welcome. I'm not sure what is exactly done to it but i know it is a I think 10 mil stroker trued and welded crank and man i can't think of what else it has but my buddie (MIKE) that bought it to trade with me he said that it was his bike originally and he sold it to the guy that he just bought it from and the guy had all this work done to it and could not get it to run right. Well i went over to mikes house and we were looking at it and fuel was just gushing out of the carbs and the plugs were wet as a mofo. so he brought it to a guy named steiner that all he works on is shee's and he built mikes and it is fast as hell. but mike said that this thing will just flat out fly and it will be as fast as his cause he has the same motor. he said the only way he might be a lil faster down the line is because he is gunna put on soem bigger carbs, so i guess im gunna have to do that to hehehe. But he will get the bike to me and it will be a turn key bike. I cant wait, two weeks b4 it gets outta the shop man i can't wait. Quote
[email protected] Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 aslong as your getting rid of your 4 stroke and gettin a banshee , by all means stop in here anytime you want!!!!!! WELCOME TO THE HQ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote

Hilarious Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 10 mil stroker :baseball_w00t: and sounds like you may have a drag port there. You had better get yourself some extra undershorts when you ride that thing. lol Should be a heck of a difference from your Z400. Banshees are hella fun. Welcome to the BHQ. Quote
knight_ripper Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Welcome to the HQ. I see your a Raider fan. Does that mean your in the Nor Cal area? I live in rancho cordova, and race VORRA. www.valleyoffroadracing.com ONe of the best feelings in the world is shifting into 6th gear and walking away from those 8000.oo machines. No one can keep up with me at high speed, unless its another banshee. I smoke most 4 bangers now that I have the suspension to get the traction the shee needs. See sig below. No port work. thats next year. Every now and again some kid who can really ride puts me in my place and reminds me that I need to practice more. but I kick everyone's ass. Not to mention 2 strokes take way more baby'n to keep runnin. so IMO, I have way more blood, sweat, and tears in my shee than any of my friends with their 4 bangers. which makes me a better rider, and owner all together. Might want to invest in some good Life insurance. Thats alot of motor for putting around with some 4 strokes Ya but i'm a very carefull rider i have gotten in a really bad wreck last year in april so it has been about 14 months since then but any way i broke my wrist in 2 places I broke 3 biones in my hand 2 ribs and my collar bone! I have been very carefull since then. I think I really needed that wreck to kinda slow mw down a lil cause i was riding stupid fast sometimes. But i have a wife and two daughters and it really woke me up when that happened and i have been very careful ever since then. and ya i got a quter million life insurance on me anyway so if i do die my wife will be fine until she gets outta nursing school. sounds like a mean shee . on some trails that thing will be touchy but once you hit a straight hold on and have fun. it is going to be a huge difference going from that z to the shee have fun with it and welcome to the hq you came to the right place .your friend think you are crazy cause they know it is time for them to eat rocks HAHA right one 2strokesmoke right on bro.
