PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 I received a dvd in the mail from an offroading magazine a couple weeks ago. It is one of those deals where I have to send it back or else buy it and they will send you more. I never asked or ordered it and I'm curious as to what my obligations are. Has anybody dealt with this stuff before? I'm unsure how they can charge me for it since they don't have my credit card number. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 (edited) Dont worry man my sister got some magazines that said the same thing they ended up sending them for 2 years before they finally stoped. Hey if there stupid enough to keep sending them who cares free magazines IMO. Edited June 6, 2006 by EastCoast Banshee Quote

That's my thought the dvd I received is pretty cool a bunch of rockcrawling and mudding but I have no reason to pay for it or any others. Quote
Animalman294 Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Ya, you had to agree to the terms before they just got your number off of a list somewhere. Otherwise you aren't liable for $hit, and if they try and collect tell them to take a flyin' Fu**. Tell them that you didn't ask them to send it to you and if they want it back they need to send you postage or come get it themselves. Obviously, they have your address . Quote

They sent it in a box that could be returned to them but I opened it before the letter that was with it. If anything I can tape it up and send it back, maybe add a brick to it in order to increase the weight. Quote
Animalman294 Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Ya, send a bunch of bricks and they get a 1000.00 postage bill Quote
