Rebel3190 Posted June 20, 2006 Author Report Posted June 20, 2006 well,i finally tore the top end apart and found the damage, what happened is the last person to fool with the top end forgot to put the wrist pin keeper back in on the right cylinder i believe, anyways because of this when the bike was running the wrist pin was sliding back and forth hitting the cylider wall making grooves on each side of the cylinder wall,so to get it it back going you will need to re-bore the cylinders and get new pistons, and maybe a new dome on the right side of the head it has a little damage and can still probably be used, the new price is $200+shipping,or trade for a nice set of smallbore cpi inframes with a little cash on top of my top end.
