racer
i think if you took the upper out, you would be lower, but the coil hat would no longer be in compression. meaning the shit would not work.
EastCoast Banshee
you should be able to take the red spring out but i cant tell if those are threaded shock bodies or not. If they are you should be able to make up for taking it out. One other thig iv herd is that triple rates on a banshee are useless =/
H300F
I had these for a few years now. They are actually valved by pep for +2 arms etc. They are a good shock, a bit soft though. I would like to drop the frontend an inch or two. Looks like they are threaded but turning them does nothing.
Blue Duece
there not threaded but do adjust up and down for your preload, there soft on top because thats the nature of a triple shock and they probally are shitty with your travel, but they bottom later than a double if your jumping and ride softer than a double on the trails, id get a a primary spring for a double rather than take your "third spring" off......... install the new spring and then take that keeper thats holding the top of the spring......... adjust it to the top of the shock body and that will lower your preload, changeing your ride height in the front and you'll still have some what of a shock remaing Edited May 17, 2006 by Blue Duece
