KpnitG Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 I just put my bike back together and it runs like shit!! I moved to Missouri From California and it seems to run weird.. My question is does it have anything to do with the elevation change at all? Does higher Elevation mean I have to raise or lower my needles?? One cylinder seamed to be working better than the other so i cleaned my carbs and put fresh plugs and that fixed that problem but it still runs Funny?? Thanks Any info would be greatly appreciated!! batoutofshell Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 you need to richen up for the midwest elavation also don't forget its humid here not dry. Quote
Animalman294 Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 You need to do a plug chop no matter what to see if you are jetted right, but yes you are changing atmospheric conditions when you go from Cali to Missouri. No matter where you are, sea level is still sea level, so if you are higher or lower than you were before you are going to have to probably change internal settings in your carbs......... Quote
