Wallrat Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 Probably just some corrosion inside the connectors or in the actual headlight. Check your clymers for a wiring diagram - there's really not much to the lighting circuit. Quote
wooten Posted May 11, 2006 Author Report Posted May 11, 2006 where can i get one of those manuals and is there a place on the net that has these wiring diragrams i have searched but cant find anything thanks Quote

Nighty Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Im guessing a stripped wire which is shorting out the lights. Check the cables comming from your stator going to the rear end of your bike. i had a cable rubbing against the frame that eventually stripped and shorted out my lights. Quote

MILO Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 (edited) BEST post ever! (said in best comicbook store guy voice) 517800[/snapback] i guess that means you got it fixed. trailer lights can be a real bitch to track down a problem also. 9 times out of 10 it's a bad ground somewhere. or a worn thru wire casing that's making contact somewhere. dielectric grease definitely helps contact points or connections from corroding though.
