Toomey Banshee Posted May 10, 2006 Report Posted May 10, 2006 OK, lemme get this straight, your running a bike with no silencers? Quote
lb9591 Posted May 11, 2006 Author Report Posted May 11, 2006 yeah it was stupid im going to buy some toomy t5's next week. but some guys at a local atv place said it wouldent hurt it i couldent stand the stock pipes, it ran fine before i put an intake on and tryed to rejet it now i cant get it to run right seems like one cylender is hitting harder then the other but i can get it to idle and kick over pretty easy we were messing with the adjustments on the top of the carb and i got 340jets in there now with the washer on the very bottom of the needle some guy that works at yahmaha told me to do that. i am in way over my head on this one if anyone can help im on AIM as lb9591 thanks alot Quote
Toomey Banshee Posted May 11, 2006 Report Posted May 11, 2006 Put the Toomeys on first, then I assume you have the Toomey 2 into 1 air cleaner system. Put your needle in the middle, 320 mains, 1and a 1/2 turns out on your air screw. Look at your carb slides from the rear of the bike and use the thumb screws on the top of your carbs and get both slides the same height from the bottom. Put new plugs in and start tuning from there.
