Hey, I do mostly trail and ditch riding, and I know putting on a longer swing arm helps get the power to the ground, as does the front suspension getting changed, but for trail and ditch riding what should I go with?

I thought a longer swingarm gives you less traction because your weight isn't over the rear tires as much. I know a longer swingarm will hurt your handlig but some nice suspension will help it

the longer swingarm will give you less traction on the trails. loose dirt o sand is another story.

go with suspension mods up front.

No a longer swingarm will not help power to the ground... helps your bike stay on the ground when you have a drag bike... Without the correct setup for it all you'll do is spin...IMO -1.5'' would be great...
