Rust spots on pipes?

My DMC Alien pipes have a few small spots of what LOOKS LIKE rust... Is there any good stuff that will prevent this?

if they are chrome you should be able to use turtle wax chrome polish, it will remove light rust. if they arent chrome I would go with a good metal polish like mothers, eagle one, or blue magic and it should help get rid of it.

if they're chrome use a sos pad and some mothers chome polish ... it'll make new lookin' again.

use steel wool and if there chrome hit 'em with some turtle wax
