JArmShee Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Recently decided to rebuild My Shee. After removing Pistons I noticed the connecting rods have play on the crank. Not up or down but only side to side on the crank bearing they dont wiggle like they are loose they just slide a little back and forth. Is this normal before i put everything back together? ps the movement is less then 1/16" in each direction. both cylinders have exact same amount of movement. Thanks Anthony Quote
JArmShee Posted April 12, 2006 Author Report Posted April 12, 2006 comon none of you ever rebuilt Quote
Ducman Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 The rods are supposed to have some side to side movement, there is even a spec for how much is within tollerance. I dont have my manual to look at just this moment but I'm 99% sure that 1/16 of an inch is easily witin tollerance. Quote
