Tim C Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 You can run them with 30 watt bulbs with the stock stator but in order to run any higher wattage bulbs you will need a heavier stator. You can have yours rewound or buy a new one with more output. Quote
Wallrat Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Yup, the stock stator puts out about 75w on the lighting circuit so as long as all your lights add up to less than 75 you're good. Ricky Stator has a 200w stator available w/ an adjustable timing plate for $180 or so. Definately a good investment if you like riding at night. Quote
