blacknred03 Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 I went and looked at a yfz today and got them down a little on the price, it looked like the old shee might be gone until they were going to give me 1500$ for it. So now I am all fired up about modding the shee. I have a 03 with k&n, fattys , and a 14 tooth sprocket upfront. I want to get a bunch of boltons that I will be able to use later on for a more agresssive buildup. I was thinking having boonman do my flywheel and mill my head. I live in Houston, sea level, so what would be a good mill on pump gas? A RS timing plate. Reeds and cages, I have no idea which ones! And a Gorr woods port, I noticed his website said they were closing for the summer, what is this all about? Any ways what else do I need? I ride wide open dirt roads and woods, no dunes. What type of power or problems with YFZ's and Hondas would I have with this setup? Thanks. Quote
ThE_BaNsHeE_mAn88 Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 i dont know too much about porting and all that but i would go with the v force reeds. Quote
racer Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 reeds for sure V-Force 2/3's are THE way to go, a new filter setup, a 15tooth up front. Quote
RIPPEN Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Get ahold of Jeff @ F.A.S.T. He is really busy so there would be a wait but the guy does great port work. A far as the head I would just spend the bucks and buy a NOSS head. They are great heads and its nice to be able to change out domes, anytime for any reason. Go with V-force 2 or 3s as others have mentioned. Other wise if you talk to Jeff (FASTOYS) he is great with talking to you about options for now or future. RIPPEN Quote
