harley_sr Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 ok a friend of mine has a banshee w/ DMC pipes, boost bottle, uni foam filter, and stock carbs. His bike has been running good untill he let it sit up. He did a minor tune up and now right off the throttle it back fires a little. and also will not idle very well. He has the needle on the 2nd clip from the top, and the air screws at 1.5 turns out. Can some one help on this set up so that it will not back fire and maybe start idleing. I am not sure what size jets, but it feels good on the top end.. Quote
harley_sr Posted April 9, 2006 Author Report Posted April 9, 2006 also on the tors, I thought all you has to do was just unplug every thing. We undid the box, the wires to the carbs, and the on to the thumb throttle. Not it just started up and ran wide open.. So we hooked every thing back up. what did we do wrong? Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 move the needle clip down right under the middle notch and see what that does and turn ur air screws in about a half turn after u do this reply and if theres still probs wel go from there. Quote
