Dcuzz23 Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 THE RUBBER BOOT THAT HAS AN ALLEN BOLT GOING THROUGH IT (ATTACHED TO CALIPER MOUNT) IS TRASHED AND APPARENTLY YOU CANT BUY IT! ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? IS THIS PIECE CRITICAL? Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 You are correct. You cannot replace those at all. If one is torn on a brake caliper I generally don't worry about it as I don't run in mud at all and I wash my bike after I ride. But, you might want to just dab some RTV around that bolt to seal it up and it will be able to function properly still. Quote
fox_forma Posted November 2, 2006 Report Posted November 2, 2006 Old topic but what exactly does that boot do? Quote
