JJBanshee Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 Hey guys, I have an 01 Banshee with FMF Gold series pipes, Pro Flow with foam filter, Stock bore and head, stock reeds and cage, stock carbs and stock timing. My elevation is +1200 feet. My bike runs best with stock jets 220/25 and the needle on the 5th clip. Now when I read all these forums and some pipe manufactures recomendations I should be around 280 main and stock 25 pilot. Has anyone ran there bike with these pipes and filter & the stock jets and just moved the needle up? Oh ya, I run the stock air box with the lid on and snorkle off. Any suggestions would be great thanks. Quote
ellison445 Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 check your plugs ASAP!!!! Or Risk Melt down I dont know anyone with pipes and stock jetting Quote
ogre03 Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 I wouldn't even risk opening it up long enough for a plug chop. Throw some 280's in it needle in the 4th clip and start tuning it in from there. Quote
