demonic shee Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 I have a banshee for sale the guy i bought it from said it was a 2000 model. when i got it all the plastic was off and the motor was out. the frame was powerder coated black it has a texture to it. the axle, swing arm, a arms, and some other stuff has been chromed. the motor came with an exploded clutch side bearing so i replaced it with a maxload bearing and checked the clearance on the crank. The crank is a 5mm stroker w/ long rods in perfect shape. i went through the whole motor new blaster pistons and custom cut domes for the wicked head, new clutch, new clutch rod and bearing. it has a billet adjustable stator plate, 30mm carbs, the current cylinders that are on it havent been ported but i have a set that are ported i may stick on there, it runs good, out there on the sand with no porting i have beat just about everything other than drag banshees. my location is texarkana ar and im 180miles from dallas tx. il try to load some pics if it will let me. the price is 2500 neg. American Posted March 31, 2006 Report Posted March 31, 2006 Pics? I'm in Fort Worth and am looking for a Banshee to buy ...right now. Quote
American Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 I received the pic and finally figured out which ad it was for. You state that there are different wheels on it than what is shown in the pic. What wheels are on it now? What compression pistons? Will it run on pump gas/mix? Quote
demonic shee Posted April 2, 2006 Author Report Posted April 2, 2006 it runs on 100 octane the compression is 190lbs and it runs very good with that compression, you'll have to have the domes cut or get big bore dome, i got some 18 inch fast trekkers on the rear on black rims and stock aluminum rims and tires on from. another thing is the guy that had the bike before me welded the propeg ententions on cut em off the bolt the stock pegs on if you want, i found out that the frame is brand spanking new.
