Any clue what the stock pilot jet is for a 1998 shee? I just bought my first banshee, put on a set of FMF gnarly pipes and powercore silencers. I have searched the forum and got a ton of great info. FMF recommends a 30 pilot jet for my conditions, wondering if that is stock? :shrugani:

I beleve 25 is stock. When my motor was stock with FMF fattys, turbo core2 silencers, and K&N pods with tors removed I ran 290 mains and 30 pilots.

Hope this helps!!!

TORS is throttle override system. 25 is stock. I also ran fatty's, and ran close to KB7. I ran 310 mains, lowered the clip one notch, and 30 pilots as well. Fmf is off on the main, I would definately start fatter and go from there. Oh, and 310's is w/the lid off.

Thanks for the info. KB7 :shrugani: ? I don't know what that means. I will be running with the lid on, but snorkle removed. So 260 are to lean? Should I start around 270 or higher?

Thanks

Stock pilots are 25's ..... on my 98 when it was stock with fatty's,k&n,20cc cool head,vf2's and no airbox lid it jetted perfect at 280 main, needle 4th clip,27.5 pilot, 1.75 turns on air screw. for 80deg and 800ft .. but its really humid around here tho.
