With the spark testor on I dont have spark every time i kick but what it runs it cuts spark out and backfires intermittenily. I have the stator and the magnet pick up gap set at .020 but i have read that it should be closer .010 on the rs stator. when i intially adjusted it .020 it seemed to get better so i dont kno pleae help Quote

DonnG03shee Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 my brother just installed a timing adjuster on his buddies banshee and had the same problem. We pulled the flywheel and found a wire that had been rubbed and grounded out by the flywheel. maybe this will help. Quote
