bike hard to start when cold

when i first kick it ,it starts then dies kick it again starts then dies if i give it gas it bogs then dies,once i kick it and let start and die about 4or5 times it runs great ,starts first kick all day.why would it do this?

they made this wonderful thing called a choke if its above freezing pull it out half way if its below pull it all the way out see if that works

I've seen the chokes not operate properly, even if it does pull out.

are you leaving it on atleast half choke once its running? If not, then it will just keep dying when its cold out....
