ellison445 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Dirty Air filter, Air leak, Clogged fuel line, Cracked reeds I would check all of those, put in some fresh plugs and try again. Welcome to the hq Quote
DIRTMAN350 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 If it is backfiring that means that it is running lean. Look for loss of fuel to carbs or reeds. Make sure you check filter/strainer in petcock in tank. I removed mine and found all kinds of crud on the pick-up screen. You might be getting fuel enough to wet plugs but not enough for it to start and run. Quote
