Handyman Posted March 17, 2006 Report Posted March 17, 2006 I decided that since I have not started my CR250 since I have put all my attention to the banshee I would start her up and go on a short ride. My wife jumped on the banshee and we went for a ride in the freshly plowed field across the street from my house. Well I opned her up a couple times and thought it was time to head back home before the police were called. I was in 2nd gear putting along at like10 mph and all of a sundden my handlebars were jerked to the left and over I went. I fell on the one small spot that wasn't plowed and screwed up my entire right arm and both my wrists. I landed so damn hard I couldn't get up right away. I laid there for abut 10 minutes and almost couldn't pick the bike up. I looked around to see what I hit and couldn't see anything. It was as if I hit the side of a big rock. my arm is all swollen and hurts like a bitch. Quote

pipebomb Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 my bone-head brother did the same thing last fall on his YZ 250 at the farm we ride at. we sent a few hours just zipping back and forth acrossed this field(wheelie contests, mini drags, etc.) he'd made the turn around at the closest end and clipped a rock, saved it and clipped another and tipped over(in 1st and barely moving) spraining his wrist. we had to laugh for like an hour at "Mr *I'm a bad ass rider*" ( and in most cases he is, just got the gift). had to give up the Shee for the rest of the day cause he didn't want to quit but couldn't use his twist throttle and it was easier to use the thumb(especially after we duct taped he wrist and hand for him ) Quote
