409 vitos big bore

or vitos big bore cylinder id go with a set of cubs thats what i was told and will be doing this fall

vitos 409 big bore is 470 installation is for both is 320 u could get away with carbs but prollly want a set on vitos its 340 for a set of 34mm carbs there prolly a few more things u might need like madifolds and shit im new to this im just tellin ya what i no. twin

There are alot of people that can bore your cylinders search around and wha outher wheelers u have if u have never had a banshee she would be alright to ride around on dont have to jumb to the bigbore but id get a cub they put some serious horse out.

yea if u send ur engine out put a 409 in it u mise well hav eit ported and put a 4mm crank in it just the 409 bigbore i here it dont help much or just have it ported. TWIN

might as well go all out ..... just get teh cubs if u plan on doing all that work it will be almost around the same price . the reason i got the motor as it is , was because of the price i got it for.

I have had dirtbikes and currently have a 400ex, i want a banshee, im going to be doing hill climing and some jumping and wheelies/playing around on. Would a stock one be ok for this, i want something with tons of power for some fun. I know a guy that can get me dortbikes and quads dirt cheap so i can use the rest of the money in the motor.What all comes in the kit?

I'd recommend sticking w/ just pipes/air filter for starters. That should keep you happy for awhile. After that you can step up to a new head and a timing plate. Those mods alone will make a shee that will be tons of fun to ride for quite awhile. It'll be shit-gobs faster than that 400ex.

 

edit- If you really wanna dump some money into the new toy, do the above stuff and then spend the rest on the suspension. Banshee's have terrible suspension! I'd do chassis mods in a heartbeat over motor mods.

It's ur wheeler but wallrat is right on that one pipes/filter/timeing plate/reeds/ stuff like that will help alot i recomend from what i have read toomeys/cpi inframes are good there are alot of pipes to choose from but if u want soup the hell out of it. TWIN

just port your 350.... youl l rev and accelrate faster and have quicker times if you soup up your 350 (porting, head,K&N,pipes,etc) over a vitos 404cc 700$ setup .if your dead set on a big bore , add another 200$ and get a 392cc cheetah cub mono and start crushing. :bolt:

port it pipes timing plate air filter kit cool head. if it is not fast enough for ya after all that get a cub and hold on!! :bolt:

the big bore kits squish the transfer ports down real small and if the cylinders are not really ported you will lose performance.( the transfer ports and exhaust port are your main power makers.
