joeyp Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 I was looking at aftermarket clutches and noticed that they don't use the cushon rings for the clutches. The reason i ask is i had the engine on my work bench and decided to pull the clutch apart and the cushons were in lots of little pieces and was curious if i needed to pick up some new ones. Quote
batoutofshell Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 get rid of them you will have to clean the case very good you don't need the cushions. More crap for yamaha to sell you! Quote

Wallrat Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 He's kidding. Those cushions are to lessen clutch chatter. Nobody runs em after their first clutch maintenance. So don't worry about it. Quote
