You risk cracking more though, since you lost the structural integrity of the sleeve as a whole. I've seen them run with some pretty bad breaks and they held up though. It's up to you man. itsaripper Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 It would have been good to have taken a die-grinder and clean up the break. That way the harmonic virbration would not be able to form any cracks.
