blueshee03 Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 try a little clear silcone caulking.leave it set up and paint it.it will seal them and after the paint is dry you can remove it easily. Quote
MYquadsFaster Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 they make plugs that you can just stick in all the threaded holes on your frame, just little rubber plugs, also one tip of advice painting is a waste of time, my friend painted his frame and 3 rides later it looked just like it did before he painted it....spring for powdercoat i dropped my swingarm onto cement and barely knicked the corner up my .02 cents Quote
crazywheelerman365 Posted February 11, 2006 Report Posted February 11, 2006 Just take some bolts with the same threds and thred them in ! When your done take them out , everybodys got extra nuts and bolts laying around.. Quote
Lightninn Posted February 12, 2006 Report Posted February 12, 2006 Ditto on the powder coating. It will look better in the long run and the powder coater will plug the holes for you. No worries! Quote
97Z-24 Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Put a Dab of grease in the holes, works great. The painters always did that where I worked before. Quote

If ure in a money situation go with painting to save. If you are willin to spend around 300ish to get a pc'd do it! by all means it is better Quote
chevyboy51 Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 grease works good but i didn't worry about it on mine because whan I was done I ran a tap through them all it was alot more work but it went together alot easyer Quote
