midnite Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 (edited) I need to rebuild my 87. When I bought it the guy said it was a 409. Here are the #'s on the pistons. Right piston----up by the rings H65F3, in the center of piston 1.50MM, next line 513P6. Left piston----up by the rings H38B4, in the center of piston 1.50MM, next line 513P6. Don't really care if it's a 409, but these cylinders have an agressive port job and I hope they have some life left in them. So what size pistons are these? Thanks. EDIT- I guess these are stock bore +1.5 mm. If so is that .060 over? Edited February 9, 2006 by midnite Quote
chris642 Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 (edited) Yup, you have a .060 over, this would make it a 364. The guy probally thought .060 over meant 60 more cc's=410!! Edited February 10, 2006 by chris642 Quote
