Sheeboy12
This adjustment cost me 2 motors , because the left screw wiggled loose from vibration and prevented raw fuel from reachin the bottom end. Any way i was wondering what yall recomend (in general) these screws to be set at. Oh and i shaved my head, got reed spacers, and a boost bottle on top of .60 over, clamp ons, and DG pipes. Do i need to rejet? What size jets do yall run (in general) ???
watkins
Sounds to me like you are talking about the idle screw... is this a big screw thats sticking out at a 90 degree angle off the side of the carb? Or are you talking about the small airscrew thats at like a 45 degree angle?
sheefreak
There is no in General. Never had DG's, but w/clam on's I would go up a pilot jet to 27.5, lowere the clip one position on the needle, and start around 300-310 on the mains to be safe. Should be a fairly good starting point.
