badxr6 Posted February 5, 2006 Report Posted February 5, 2006 i have a little problem with the bike running a bit rich just off idle and some times fowls the the plugs this is what i have 35mm pj carbs bigbore sleeves 69.5mm pistons portted daul stage reeds portted reed cage plus4 timming pc pipes 19ccdomes prodesign head pilot jet is on the smallest 35 top slot on needles will idle air screw out heaps.will it help if i machine the throttle valve cut away some more cheers Quote
Banchetta Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Try some DEK or EEK needles....alot of times the pwk carbs need more fuel on the bottom, but not the idle circuit....another thing, is that if your carbs are too big, your jetting will be VERY hard to tune...you will also lose power.
