With the lid on your going to be around 270, with the lid off you will be closer to 300's. Right now i have fmf fattys around sea level and in cold temp's I have been running a 330 which is a little rich but runs great. It's better to be a little rich then a little lean. Start big and work down. After you got your main done adjust your needles, I have mine on the 4th clip but I have heard 5th clip with stock reeds and 4th clip with aftermarket reeds but it all depends on your machine. Hope this helps

I agree. I have found the Fatty's to like a bigger pilot also, especially in cold weather, but not sure about the Gnarlys.

so when you say 3rd 4th and 5th clip are you counting from the top. So the top would be 1 2nd one down would be 2 or does it start from the bottom?
