badbanshee01 Posted February 2, 2006 Report Posted February 2, 2006 With the lid on your going to be around 270, with the lid off you will be closer to 300's. Right now i have fmf fattys around sea level and in cold temp's I have been running a 330 which is a little rich but runs great. It's better to be a little rich then a little lean. Start big and work down. After you got your main done adjust your needles, I have mine on the 4th clip but I have heard 5th clip with stock reeds and 4th clip with aftermarket reeds but it all depends on your machine. Hope this helps Quote

87_shee Posted February 5, 2006 Author Report Posted February 5, 2006 thanks guys...i picked up a few different sizes to try....ive talked to some people around here with the same set up and they all claim that a 280 main is the best....so il give it a try when my pipes arrive.... Quote
