:angry: i just bought a used banshee, i've got it from a friend of a friend. and he raced it, its in ok shape but it doesnt idle at all even warm. it runs great while moving but. any one got any idea???

first thing I would do is normal maintance. clean the air filter, change the plugs and oil, clean the carbs and try again. the idle screws are under the seat on top of the carbs. about the size of a dime. I f you still have stock carbs

you need a carb gasket kit every time you open em up???

your tors needsa adjusted the two scres on the top of your carbeurators, about the size of a dime. once you get it adjusted right make them stay in place with loctite. that should fix the idling problem :dance:

thanks for the feed back guys, but i only have on screw on the top of the carbs, and its hand knob, i belive its a choke. its a good chance the carbs are aftermarket, i just bought the shee.

sounds like you have PJ carbs from keihin... the black knob is the choke when you pull it, but is also the idle when you turn it out...7 turns out from seated should be your idle or close.
