RIPPEN Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Tomarrow Iam planning on painting my frame. Iam wanting to paint it black but not sure what to do about the A-arms and swing arm. I was thinking of painting them silver so there is some contrast. A few buddies say silver, a few say black. Wander what some of you think??? Below is what it looks like now other than I will have CPI inframes, silver hubs and the jugs are no longer yellow. Thanks RIPPEN Quote
Robert Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I would go with a black frame and yellow a-arms and swing arm. I would also paint the hubs black. I think that would look good with yellow plastics and a black seat Quote
d-dizzle Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 black for sure, and a sticker of the mexican bumble bee guy from the simpsons Quote
Wallrat Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Black will never look weird or out of place. I say go with black on everything. Quote

[email protected] Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 ooooooooooo keep the clear coat very very light , like spray many coats vrs a few heavy coats ....... and dont get to close with the clear itll eat the paint ! i spray from almost 3 feet away with the clear. and i put 4 coats on Quote
Wallrat Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Geez I just used some Duplicolor High Temp Engine Enamel (spraycan) on mine. Turned out really good and is still holding up pretty well 2 years later. Quote
