Iam in the process of tearing my bike down to clean, powder coat, and paint everything. Iam curious what some of you have done as far as the nuts or bolts on your bike. I was curious if you guys soak them in something, paint them or what. Not trying to get to crazy with detail but while I have it apart I want to do the best job I can. Iam also curious what you would recomend for the plastic. I have heard of some products that help take out some scratches and make the plastic look a bit better. Thanks

This is the set I got off ebay: www.alloyboltz.com

Shipped quickly and great quality! I just got the normal kit (non polished) and they're super shiny. The polished ones are just touched up on a buffing wheel. You could do that yourself if you're going for a show bike or something. Otherwise the normal set is just fine.

Its definately worth it. Not only does it replace all the soft stock bolts that strip out like crazy, but I've got a TUB full of metric nuts and bolts now. Everytime I go riding it seems like somebody needs something.

Ditto, I bought from a set of the polished nuts/bolts off the same company. Fast shipping, and EXCELLENT quality stuff! All the bolts and nuts are in individually labeled bags, makes t real easy. :headbang:
