I am building a banshee and need help seeing if i should put a stock banshee engine and get mods for it or get a motorcycle engine instead?

And does anybody know what parts and procedures are needed to put a motorcycle engine in a banshee? If so list them please.

Thanks for your help

If you go motorcycle engine, go with an RZ350 engine, essentially the same as the banshee motor but with a power valve system and iit maks almost 20 more horse throughout the powerband. You'll need all the elctronics with the engine, and pipe adaptors other than that it bolts right in.

If your lookin to go multi cyl four stroke or 2 stroke your into lots of custom fab and lots of $...not worth the headace for the minimal gains IMO.

it is found in the RZ350 bike :D

it's a street bike that uses the same engine as the shee with the added power valve as stated above. There on ebay time to time or checka cycle trader. just search for rz350 you'll find info.

If you can get an RZ motor do it. I finally got my RZ motor in my banshee this fall and even with the limited time I had riding it you could feel a difference in low end comparing my current banshee which has the same set up as the RZ using the same pipes.

If you ned help with electronics and how to mount the CDI, Rectifier, Servo etc, let me know. I had it pretty efficiently, clean looking and professional mounted on the shee.

I do not have the RZ in the frame at this time but will have it mounted in June when the SE comes in. can't wait!
