IT has 3 different sounds-2 stroke(125 dirt bike sound),4stroke(craptor), or chime(annoying sound you hear when you go in and out of a store sound). Sound box thing goes in the middle of house and wireless button goes outside. both run off batteries. Pretty cool hearing a dirt bike sound when someone is at the front door. Girl friend doesnt think so. I would have never bought it but it was a pretty good gift idea.
