crank67 Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 bought a 500 set up . bord case , put pistons and jugs on . and turned motor over and pistons are a quator inch from top ov jugs at highest point. i think i have a 4mm crank in this motor but not sure it has number 204 on crank web . and 1.21 on coneecting rod it says hot rod on conecting rods. is this a stock hot rod crank ? and will a 10mm crank bring pistons up abought a quator ov a inch ? or do i need longer conecting rods? or just a taller piston?? WOULD PITCHERS HELP WITH QUESTIONS ? LET ME NO THANKS. Quote
Wallrat Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 Measure how much the pistons extend above the cyls in millimeters and double that number. That's how much extra stroke you have. Quote
TrickShee259 Posted December 13, 2005 Report Posted December 13, 2005 I think he's sayin that the pistons are a quarter of an inch down below the top of the cylinders. i don't think they're comin above the top of em... from what i understand... Quote
