jeepman380 Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 One is made to be used with V-Force reeds and one is made to be used with stock reed cages. Quote
r6rider04 Posted December 10, 2005 Author Report Posted December 10, 2005 i understand that but what is the the design differrence between the two. pro design's site just says there is a "slight difference between the two" sory if i was unclear Quote
pipebomb Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 on the V-foce model, the reed side of the manifold is machined smooth since the Vforce reed cage has a built in air diverterto direct the air down thought the reeds. the standard version for stock reed cages have an air deflector plate mounted on the reed side to channel the airflow. I learn that the hard way and had to grind off the plate to fit after I realized I ordered the wrong one. Quote
