pimp559 Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Is there gold hidden in the motor, $6000? Quote
sanddragger28 Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 He wants 6k because its an old J arm conversion very rare Im sure we couldnt find any nice drag bikes with custom paint cheetah cub motors on alcohol for 6k may be 6500.00 though you could oh and the cub bike would also be 13 years newer with a arm that were standard Ive got 2000.00 for ya on this 89 Quote
WTracing Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 From what I've seen completely stock bikes are selling are selling for $2,700 to $3,500 (any year) Wasn't looking to offend anyone just trying to sell a bike. I guess if I put A-arms on the bike and switch the quad to alcohol I can get another 5 bills? Quote
njbanshee Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 6K, never gonna happen, but a damn good try. Quote
WTracing Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 Then what is a fair asking or market price? Quote
strokrbanshee1 Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 I bought a 1998 4 mill with all of that stuff on it for alittle over 3000 so i think you are alittle high... Quote
WTracing Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 sounds like a smokin deal. I just sold my other banshee (87) for $3200 w/o all the mods. (had pipes/paddles/pwd ct frame/fresh top end) Live in CA, wonder if that has anything to do with price??? Quote
endofitall9 Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 from what ive read around the web lately the shees are selling for way more money in the west than in the east so i agree with ya on that. 6000k is a little steep but if i had the money id give ya 5000 for it anyday and i bought my 90 for 800 lol I say if you dont own it dont dog it. good luck Quote

The thing is, on the net there are so many quads for sale and all someone has to do is click here and there to find the best deal. If someone new to the Banshee scene sees that thing and all of its mods in front of them in person for less than the price of a brand new one, they will think it's a steal. It's just way too easy to find good deals on the net. I'm sure you've put way more money into that thing than 6k will justify, but that's how resales go. I guess my best suggestion is to sell it locally because you will end up selling it online for nowhere near what it's worth and you'll be disappointed. My 2 cents USD on the matter. Quote
WTracing Posted December 9, 2005 Author Report Posted December 9, 2005 Thanks for the advice....I'm putting it in the trader this week/end. Yep, I Quote
Wallrat Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Don't stress it man. Cali has crazy resale prices on quads so while $6k is high, its not as far out in left field as these east coast guys think. This might help you with your pricing:Clicky Clicky Guy is a member here, bike is PERFECT. Offered it at $6800 here in Cali...not sure what he ended up getting for it but I think he had an offer for $6500 or something from somebody he didn't sell it to. Quote
GYTWYPT Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 damn if you can get 6k in Cali. I need to send my 4mil. with some LS stuff on it out there. I would take 6k for mine and then buy two more and start over. Quote
