cutiegirlracing Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Boost bottles are quite simple they fool the engine into thinking the carbs are closer to the transfer port outlet. When you gun the throttle there is a drop in inlet pressure. Charged gasses are takin from the boost bottle and into the engine. This is much like a large capacitor on a car stereo, a reserve if you will. Boost bottle don't make horsepower. They just quicken the time the charged gasses enter the cylinders, making a motor more responsive, or in theory they will. Quote
ozosborne Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 This is a much debated topic here. I've thoght of putting it on, as it's not that expensive. So if there is something gained it's fine, if not it won't really hurt the wallet much. Quote
RNBRAD Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 So your rehashing our old info and posting it again? Quote
350TwinDeathBed Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 (edited) Jesus Christ. There are two main things wrong here: 1) This topic is everywhere in the Search function and you will quickly find out that the Boost Bottle is a worthless piece of shit 2) We already determined that you're a fucking guy, cutiegirl, so I'm sure you're just trying to push buttons by telling us what a fucking boost bottle is, look who you are talking to, the BansheeHQ, we don't need you to tell us about the most worthless mod made in atv history Edited December 9, 2005 by 350TwinDeathBed Quote

Ya know if you buy after market cylinders like a Cheetah, the intake has no holes for them. And I might add that on my old drag 350 I removed the cross-over tube and installed plugs...... Quote
