#1banshee Posted December 7, 2005 Report Posted December 7, 2005 +2 +1 A Arm's.. And a +2 Swing arm to big for trail riding.? And i plan on going to the dunes atleast a few times a year i hope....Will it do good there also and what about handling will it be shitty or better?... thanksssss Quote
Wallrat Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Guys that ride really narrow trails tend to stick with either stock width arms or maybe +1, +1's. So I would say it depends more upon the trails that you normally ride. If you barely clear trees now then don't go wider. For the swingarm +2 isn't too bad. You'll lose a little traction and the handling will suffer, but its still gonna be somewhat close to stock. How much engine are you running? Quote
sanddragon2004 Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 what up wall rat! hows the tower and boat restoration project going? Quote
450rooster Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 I have a jig built for the yfz and 250R, and Banshee and the other jigs will be built as people want them. I run a small Chopper shop out of my garage and build frames and swingarms for choppers and other custom parts and wanted a swingarm for myself so I built a jig to build one for my YFZ . I will be building them for anyone how wants one. Iwill be charging $385- $400 raw shipped(USA) for the swing arm any length there are a couple of different styles I can do (tube-round or square)(motocross, drag, play). take a look at my website to see some of my fabrication work. pictures will be up soon on the Quad page see my website at: www.independentcycleworks.com thanks Larry Quote
