ZillaRider02 Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Wanting to try this flattrack thing on a couple of local tracks during this winter's series. I would like to atleast have some proper tires before I show up to race. My bike is already fairly low, but without swaybar. Can I give it a go with a set of tires and lower the suspension some? Anybody have a set of spare tires they would part with? Quote
370banshee Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 you don't need a sway bar for "trying" just lower it with tiedowns.... as for tires sorry... i have only what i need... if i run across soem more i'll sell some though.... Quote
XInsane350X8 Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 For flat tracking , you don't really need a sway bar for trying it... as for the suspension goes , don't use tie downs... That would be the most uncomfortable race you'd ever do. Lowering kit is the way to go. I have rear flat track tires I could probably part with bc I'm buyin all new rims & tires. I flat track my '00 Banshee. Get at me if interested at [email protected] Quote
