axle hub nut threads?

I bought a used axle off a guy and sent me one with the threads banged up on the ends. Anyone know where I can get a die to fix them? Or even the size I would need?

IF THEY ARE BUGGERED UP A LITTLE, A FILE CAN BE USED TO STRAIGHTEN THEM.sears sells tap and die kits.the clymer may have the thread diameter and pitch.

A die that size will probably cost more than what you paid for the axel.
