Carnegie, CA - Riding Trip

Making a trip to carnegie this saturday for you Cali riders...bright and early. Will be a large group of quads, a Silver GMC flatbed truck, and a chevy van. It would be cool to see some faces from the HQ that are in the area...

U guys like carnagie better than hollister?

 

Im in Sacramento, but occasionally ride down there. have a good run!

aw man that sucks...well I actually like hollister better than carnegie but we are just going to carnegie this weekend...it rained last night to its gonna be dust free so we can actually enjoy riding. nice to see some riders in the area though...maybe next time

Can't make it tomorrow; too many home projects going on this weekend.

 

The rain will definitely help. A bunch of us were riding at LaGrange last weekend and the dust at the end of the day nearly blocked out the sun! Almost looked like dusk @ 4:00 PM.

 

Mutant MX is racing at LaGrange next weekend. I know they could use some fast quads to fill out their race program. I don't race but my friends do. Any interest?

LaGrange....def interested...but my collar bone is kinda holdin me back. But Im always interested in a good race. im not going to be up and running till least mid january depending if my bone heals back together.

 

wheres lagrange? does the track have a web site?

 

what series is the race with? cost ect?

 

i think im gonna miss the first golden state too...its the beginnin of jan.

1 word...dust...looks like the rain didn't help at all...met this kid with a nice shee ...+2+1 a-arms w/ axis shocks...that thing rode smooth as hell...a guy's raptor from the riding group went flyin down a hill...luckily it didnt hit a tree or anything it got stuck in some bushes...he was a beginner. you really didn't miss anything...too much dust to enjoy the riding enough...but it was good to get a few rides in ..

LaGrange is a state OHV park, about an hour east of Modesto. A little small, but a nice MX track.

never heard of LaGrange...might have to check it out...is it anything like hollister and carnegie?

The terrain is a lot like Carnegie, but a lot smaller park, with much smaller hills.

 

Less crowded with a much more relaxed "Police Presence" though.

checking out mutants website....all I see is Motocross Bikes.

 

Quads race there too? i will have to check it out. Nice track or what?

As I said, I don't race (too old and fat!), but it looks like a nice, well-maintained track.

 

When they ran a couple of weeks ago, they had 19 classes of bikes, including everything from kids to Pros, with two 4-Lap motos each. They had all the quads run together (Beginner, Novice and Intermediate) in the same moto. If they had more entrants, they would definitely split those up. Don't know about trophies and such, but at least its a real race!

 

With all the rain we're getting, it should be nice and sloppy!

Well, obviously I don't know squat. I showed up yesterday to play ride and watch some MX, but, NO RACE!

 

I guess they switched the event to Club Moto at the last minute. Who knows why?

 

Had a great day of riding anyway. Plenty of water and mudholes for shits and giggles, and NO DUST!
