Help please.

On my banshee the left pipe is smoking alot and spitting out oil. And when i ride, I can hear a unormal noise from the left side. What can this be? thanks

have you checked compression? when was the last time you rebuilt? are your carbs synched? is your jetting good? how does your air filter look? check your plugs too.

The compression is good. I bought it used from a freind and he never rebuilt it. But it only has about 40hours on it. Im not sure about everything else ill have to check it.

how old is it? if its an older quad and its never had a top end then im sure it would need one anyways.

Yeah its a 98 so that might be it. I talked to my mechaninc and im takin it to him monday so he will take a look. Thanks

i dunno if mechanics are a good idea they like to charge a lot for simple crap. did you check the compression or did you just tell me it was fine? dont lie now. id say if its a 98 and its been ridden at all since 1998 it would need a top end.

i didnt lie.lol i got it about two weeks ago and my friend who sold it to me checked it and and he said it one cylinder was at 125lbs and the other was at 123lbs. unless he lied. lol . And the mechanic is a good long time friend im not worried about that happening. thanks

i brought it to him and the only problem was the pilot jet was clogged up.
