hittintrees srh Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 O.K. Ive got a 01' shee with a dune port and other assorted mods(check my sig.). My question is, would a ported motor respond well to a longer(probably +4)crank?? Possably even a longer rod also. As I am told, stroking a ported motor my not be a good idea, because the port timmig would be out of wack. If so, could I just have my port timming modified to match the new crank. Thanks, BHQ RULES!!! Quote
Wallrat Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 It all comes down to how much material did your builder remove. There might be enough room or you might be able to do it by running a spacer plate. Contact your builder and see what he says. Quote
it's stolen Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 dennis packard told me it will not run as well if it is ported before the the stroker crank is installed Quote
