This place sounds pretty bad ass. I want to know more about it too. Is it mostly dunes? What kind of fourwheeler would be best down there. The reason I ask is I have a banshee and a Polaris 800 sportsman. Which one would be best. Also what kind of camping is it. Could I get a fifth wheel trailer to a cool camping spot? It's definitely warmer down there than in Salt Lake, right? Sorry for the 20 questions but I wouldn't mind checking it out. Let me know. Thanks

too many toys i will try too answer all your questions the best i can.i would say its half and half on the dunes but i only go for the sand there is a big lake there too and getting bigger the water has come up alot the last few years big enough for boats and jet skis or just swimming i would say the water sports are better in the summer monthes.as for quads the banshee would be the funnest in the sand as you might know but the sportsman will do fine there are lots of trials there too me and my son just went last saturday and he rode a sportsman 400 and had a blast in the sand there just not made for sand but im sure the 800 would be fine.as for camping its primitive you can get a 5th whell in there if its not real busy easy parking with out houses aboustley no shade though and its very hot in the summer months but still very fun just bring shade there are no hook ups either. this time of year is perfect 70s just right not too hot. town is only 15 mins away so your able to get what ever you want pretty easy.gas food beer ice ect.and yeah its much warmer than slc let me know when you want to go ill be glad to help you out

Hey Scooter I read in the new dirt wheels that they have a campground w/full hook-ups? Are they wrong or is it too far from the actual dunes? When we do plan our trip should we bring my dirt tires as well as paddles we would hate to tear up our paddles? There's probably going to be about 12-16 of us going, more than likely about 6 banshee's.Any where up there for a mini motorcycle rail? Thanks for the help......Adam

banshee x they may be right there might be hook ups on the ( lake side)i go for the sand and there is no hook ups on the sand side kind of screwy once you get in you go left for the lake and right for the dunes but you can get to the lake on the sand side to camp and swim its only like a 100 yards away if that but no hook ups the lake side is only a few miles away but i dont know if you can ride from there too the dunes. i would bring paddles for sure there are trails if you want to ride them but theres enough sand you dont have too you wont hurt your paddles thats all i run there but you can ride with out them just not as fun and if your on a shee you want them. sorry but i dont know what a mini motorcycle rail is but there are lots of bikes that ride there too. i would guess its like many other dunes its ranges from very easy dunes to very steep

Is this the lake that they have been catching all those big bass at? The one they say is better fishing than Quail creek? I think I am starting to know where this place is. That would be cool if they have full hookups. I am going to plan a trip down there next month and I will let you know when I am coming down. So I can get directions. Thanks again.
