Turbobanshee_kid Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 Need some help with a nut on the banshee's cylinders. It was strip when I was taking the cylinders off for porting. How can i get it off? I live in near miami, Florida Quote
dawarriorman Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 Take the other cylinder off first, so you have some room. If its not broken loose yet, then use the closed end of a wrench to break it loose. Then just take it off. It doesn't look that bad. Quote
Turbobanshee_kid Posted November 5, 2005 Author Report Posted November 5, 2005 thank you so much i did not know they were not connected. Will the ring of the piston pop out it me? Quote

Turbobanshee_kid Posted November 5, 2005 Author Report Posted November 5, 2005 Should I put WD-40 OR OIL on it to losen it up? Quote
dawarriorman Posted November 5, 2005 Report Posted November 5, 2005 1. Not sure if you mean piston rings or the pin circlips, but nothing will pop out. 2. I meant use the closed end of a wrench on the nut if you have one that will fit. It should, cuz I was able to use a ratcheting wrench on mine. 3. Yes, some type of penetrating oil would help. I don't like WD-40 so much, if you can, find an oil called Kroil, it helps you break anything loose. Quote
