Castor 927

Anyone ever run this below 2 degrees C? It says it might separate from the gas at below that temp. I am just wondering if I am going to end up frying my engine if I run at cold temps?

I'm running 40:1 if that makes a difference.

you can shake it up really well before putting it in your tank or store it in a safe spot somewhere around room temp so it doesnt seperate.

 

not near any flames or stuff like that.

Thanks, but I meen like when your riding, then you stop for a bit, then you go again. Would I have to shake the quad? Or I could get towed behind another quad on the train tracks haha.

How long do you think I would take for it to seperate at say, -2?

while riding the bike should shake the gas around and help it.

 

ive rode in like 15 deg farheit before with it lasted about 30 min and i was beyond froze. so

alot of people switch to synthetic i n the winter months to avoid the castor seperating ,klotz R50 is a good synthetic that stays suspended ,sled guys seem to like it

I would switch, no use risking it.
