8buck Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 (edited) What should I replace as far as the engine goes? I really don't want anymore mods so I was just thinking of honeing the cylinders and re-ringing it. What else do you guys recommend? Edited November 4, 2005 by 8buck Quote
ogre03 Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 As far as the hone/re-ring thing goes it depends on what your cylinders measure out at. You may need a bore. As for weather or not you need to tear into the bottom end of it, how many hour are on it? Are you rebuilding it because something went wrong, or just cause it seems like it's about time? Quote

I would guess there's around 100 hours on it or so. When I measure the cylinders, what are the specs it should be in as far as max. taper and piston/cylinder wall clearance? Quote
